| The hotel Palacio Belmonte is located in the characteristic Alfama district of Lisbon, on the eastern part of the hillside of St George's Castle. Set in a 15th century building, it passed through several changes reaching its actual classical aspect in 1640. From 1999 to 2003 the building has been restored and redecorated, opening as a hotel in August 2003. The hotel's main philosophy is to provide a high level of exclusivity and a second home atmosphere.
